Grease Depth Comb
A grease comb is required to properly measure grease on various areas of the exhaust hood system to determine if cleaning is required. NFPA Code 96.11.6.1.1.2 says that a depth gauge comb shall be placed on the surface of the exhaust hood surface to measure the depth of the grease.
